Unlike cloud-hosted SaaS ERPs where your business financial ledgers, vendor buy rates, and customer medical records are aggregated on shared multitenant database clusters, LedgerPro stores all transactional records in local encrypted SQLite files directly on your local workstation or store LAN.
2. Tamper-Evident Audit Logging
Internal store fraud and unauthorized edits are prevented through an immutable audit trail. When cashiers issue bill edits, reprint receipts, apply manual discounts, or trigger cash drawer openings, each event is recorded with an exact timestamp and user ID.
3. Automated Local & External Backups
LedgerPro features built-in automated backup routines. Store owners can configure automated daily backups to secondary local drives, mapped network drives, or external USB storage with AES-256 encryption.
4. Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)
Establish strict operational boundaries between cashiers, inventory managers, and store proprietors. Cashiers can be restricted from viewing purchase costs, modifying historic transactions, or exporting customer databases.
